All our efforts to build the campaign for tuition fee reductions and increased funding for education won’t mean much unless we do the groundwork with decision-makers in the provincial and federal governments, as well as on campuses.
Students lobby year-round to promote their interests, and from October 6-10, a concerted lobby effort will be undertaken.
Students will be letting governments know what our campaign is all about, promoting policies to improve access to and quality of education, and looking for opportunities to counter the well-heeled lobbyists that would like to see fees rise and universities and colleges further privatised.
